Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to a transfer link that has emerged between the club and Liverpool’s Yasser Larouci.
According to Goal, the 19-year-old Frenchman is set to leave Anfield this summer and the Whites are one of his suitors.
The left-back is after more regular first-team football and alongside Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit, Brentford are reportedly holding an interest in the player.
Not only are both of the Championship sides interested, but according to Goal, some ‘preliminary discussions’ have already been held.
This was then relayed to social media by James Marshment, which had lots of fans reacting.
Leeds reported to have held talks over a summer deal for Liverpool left-back Yasser Larouci.
The Algerian, 19, is in the final year of his contract at Anfield and the Reds are prepared to sell. Brentford also reported to be keen, claims Goal.— James Marshment (@marshyleeds) July 16, 2020

Radrizzani and Kinnear were walking round the back of north stand this morning with a young lad and an older bloke. Might be putting 2+2 and getting 6. Any ideas @PhilHay_ @GrahamSmyth ?

Goal’s report goes on to describe what the Reds are after to seal Larouci’s exit and it is stated that they want ‘a competitive transfer fee’ alongside buy-back and sell-on clauses with other performance-related add-ons.
Would you be pleased if Leeds signed Yasser Larouci from Liverpool?
Yes, he seems a talent
No, he's not good enough
If Brentford want him then he must be good tbf

Wilkinson used to say that left back is arguably the hardest position to fill.

During his time in Merseyside, the defender has made two senior appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side in which he neither scored nor assisted (per Transfermarkt).
Both of the appearances were in the FA Cup, the first being the Reds’ 1-0 victory over Everton and the second their 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury Town.

As can be seen in these responses from the Elland Road faithful, there was a mixed bag of reactions regarding the transfer link.
