Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to a transfer link which has emerged between the club and Manchester United’s Sergio Romero.

According to TyC Sports, as cited by TEAMtalk, the Whites are interested in recruiting the services of the backup stopper from the Red Devils.

As stated, the return of Dean Henderson from Sheffield United may even leave Romero as third-choice goalkeeper next season behind Henderson and David de Gea.

This was then shared to social media by James Marshment and lots of supporters flocked to it to air their thoughts on the transfer link.

Nice easy one to start off with, from which club did Leeds sign Hernandez?

The 33-year-old goalkeeper’s contract is currently set to expire next summer and he has a market value of just £2.52m according to Transfermarkt.

Would you be happy if Leeds signed Sergio Romero from Manchester United?

This season, Romero has made 15 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions in which he has conceded just four goals and kept 11 clean sheets (per Transfermarkt).

None of those appearances have come in the Premier League, though, as he has featured in the Europa League, the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.

As can be seen in these responses from Leeds fans, there seems to be some who believe that Romero would be a good signing and others who are not as convinced.
