Liam Kennedy has been on a recent episode of NUFC Matters with Steve Wraith and has been discussing the proposed takeover of Newcastle United by Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed consortium.
Kennedy spent a long time covering the takeover in great detail and also provided some hints on transfers.

The fact that Kennedy describes these potential signings as ‘incredible’ suggests that Newcastle might have some good players lined up even if their takeover doesn’t go through, giving the fans a reason to be excited regardless of the proposed takeover’s fate.
Kennedy would not reveal the players’ names in his chat with Wraith, but on Thursday, he published an exclusive about the Toon looking at Luka Jovic on loan.
So, maybe that was one of the names he was talking about?
Either way, the transfer window opens soon, and even though Newcastle might have plans in place, it would be better for the club if the Premier League made a decision on the takeover soon.
