Here’s a sample of Leeds fans responding to the post:
Leeds in for Jonathan David, as confirmed by Gent’s chairman.
A player watched by plenty of Europe’s big clubs, this would be a really astute signing for Leeds and one you could see becoming top quality under Bielsa https://t.co/WUBCuWsDTc— James Marshment (@marshyleeds) July 26, 2020

Wow this is mad. This guy is a huge talent, The fact we’re linked with him is insane.

During those appearances, David has played in numerous positions across the attacking line for Gent, from attacking-midfield, centre-forward, second-striker and left-wing.
We must be confident that we get out of the JKA deal? I presume we have had Mr Loophole peruse the T&C’s

I’d imagine any striker coming in will depend on the outcome of the Big Kev fiasco

It appears that the majority of these Leeds fans are quite excited by the idea of David joining the Yorkshire club. Looking at his goals and assists record this season, it’s understandable why Leeds would be interested in signing him.
With Leeds winning promotion to the Premier League this season, adding David to their squad to boost their attacking power could help them in their top-flight campaign next season.
