Many Leeds United fans have been responding to a post by @LewyPearce on Twitter in which he shared a screenshot from Ben White’s Instagram story.
The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Elland Road from Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion, but is due to return to the Amex Stadium at the end of this season. The centre-back has played every single minute of Leeds’ Championship campaign and according to WhoScored.com, his average performance rating stands at 7.06/10.
Taking the above into account, it is clear that the player has played a key role in the club’s success so far this season and it appears many have taken his post as a hint to his parent club that he wants to remain in Yorkshire.
Here is how a sample of the supporters have responded to the screenshot from the player’s Instagram account:

Are you still hopeful an agreement with Brighton can be reached?
Yes
No
It’s clear from the above responses that these Leeds United supporters are desperate to see him signed on a permanent deal.
If Leeds and Brighton are Premiership clubs next year he’s picking Leeds.

According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, White is worth £4.95m, but reports have suggested that Brighton will demand a much higher fee for any potential suitors. Judging by the above replies though, it seems that not all Leeds fans have given up hope of an agreement being reached.
