Supporters of Leeds United have been flocking to a Twitter post from Leeds United’s Scottish central defender Liam Cooper.
On Sunday afternoon, the 28-year-old defender posted to social media with an image of himself in the pre-match warm-up in a shirt which read: ‘RIP Big Jack’ (per Liam Cooper).
The message was a tribute to the former Leeds player Jack Charlton who passed away last week at the age of 85 (per BBC).
Alongside the image of himself, Cooper commented: ‘An emotional weekend for the club! So pleased we could get the win for this great club. Onto the next one’.
Lots of Leeds supporters then flocked to this tweet to let the defender know their thoughts.

The victory over the Swans maintained United’s three-point lead at the top of the Championship table, with the side now only needing to better Brentford’s result in mid-week to achieve promotion to the Premier League (per BBC).
Do you now believe that Leeds United will achieve promotion to the Premier League?
Yes, we're going to do it
No, we'll bottle it
???????One game at a time…fantastic result…just sheer emotion at the end. Heart says yes now…head still holding back….Big celebrations needed hopefully soon…16 years of pain…..
