Nice easy one to start. Who is this current Leeds man?

Cooper’s performance in the defeat against the Welsh side led to a lot of Leeds fans sharing their thoughts on the defender on Twitter.

Here’s a sample of Leeds fans slamming Cooper:

In their first Championship match back since the league was temporarily suspended due to the impact of the current global pandemic, Bielsa’s side fell to a 2-0 defeat thanks to goals from Junior Hoilett and Robert Glatzel.

Glatzel’s goal, in particular, came from a mistake from Cooper in the build-up with a loose pass that gave possession away, which then paved the way for lots of Leeds fans to take aim at the 28-year-old on Twitter with their criticisms.

This season for Leeds has seen Cooper in good form, with his performances in his 31 Championship appearances earning him a season rating of 7.05/10, making him Leeds’ fourth highest-rated player in this campaign (per WhoScored).

According to WhoScored, Cooper’s performance in this latest defeat earned him a match rating of 6.1/10, making him the lowest rated Leeds defender that started the game.

One Leeds fan even suggested that Cooper should be dropped from the team after his latest performance.

Should Liam Cooper be dropped for Leeds' next game?

Despite Leeds’ ambitions for winning promotion at the end of this season, it’s clear from this defeat against Cardiff that they will need to tighten up defensively with both goals coming from individual errors.

The hope for Bielsa and the Leeds players now would be that they can use this defeat as an important lesson and focus on what they need to improve on for their remaining Championship fixtures this season.
