Leeds United fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from Leeds journalist Phil Hay.
This comes after Hay shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing that the club have extended the loan deals of Gaetano Berardi, Jack Harrison, Illan Meslier, Ben White and Helder Costa.
This means that they will be available to play in all of Leeds’ remaining Championship fixtures.
Hay also added in his post that a decision is yet to be made by the club on Jean-Kevin Augustin’s deal at Elland Road.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update.
Here’s a sample of Leeds fans responding to the post:
Leeds confirm that they have extended Berardi's contract until the end of the season. Loans of Harrison, Meslier and Ben White also extended to cover all remaining games. Likewise Helder Costa.
Decision yet to be taken on Augustin, who isn't fit. His loan is up on June 30. #lufc

Some Leeds fans took this latest post from Hay as an opportunity to share their thoughts on Augustin and what the club should do with him.
May as well let big Kev go

The Frenchman signed to Leeds back in the previous January transfer window from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on a loan deal.
Since then, Augustin has made just three Championship appearances, with the forward making each of these appearances coming off the substitutes’ bench (per Transfermarkt).
These three appearances have resulted in Augustin playing just 48 minutes for Leeds without managing to score a goal or provide an assist for his team.
Augustin’s cameo performances have resulted in the forward being given a season rating of 5.96/10 (per WhoScored).
However, given the number of appearances Augustin has made for Leeds, it would seem slightly harsh to judge him on these performances.
Now he is injured don’t think we will see JKA again. Such a shame but somethings don’t change and if Tyler Roberts starts, we could have a bench that doesn’t contain a striker even with 5 potential subs. But it’s been always thus. #lufc #MOT #Bielsaball

What should Leeds do with Augustin?
End his deal now
Give him an extra deal
I would just send him back now

Now that Hay has shared this information on his official Twitter page, this gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on the situation.
Thought we had to sign JKA if we get promoted Phil? Seems a huge gamble at 18m now with how little he’s played?

It appears that the news surrounding the lack of a decision on Augustin’s current deal at Elland Road has grabbed the attention of the majority of these Leeds fans more than anything else.
