Some Leeds United fans have been talking about Adam Forshaw after Phil Hay recently relayed a tweet involving the midfielder.
Forshaw was recently talking on the Leeds That podcast and they tweeted about it from their account. Their tweet had an image displaying the midfielder’s comments on Leeds’ chances of promotion to the Premier League. Forshaw said that he’s ‘convinced’ that the Whites will get promoted. He went on to claim that the club will ‘romp it’.
Hay shared this tweet, saying that Forshaw’s comments are ‘wonderfully bold’. This caught the attention of many Leeds fans and they weren’t happy with how confident Forshaw sounded about promotion.
This will come back to bite us in Forshaw and he’ll be injured for next 2 seasons

Do you think Forshaw has jinxed Leeds' promotion?
Absolutely
No, we will get promoted
I wish we’d say nothing at all…

Last season saw Leeds fail to earn promotion to the Premier League despite finishing the campaign in the third position, after being knocked out by Derby County in the play-off semi-finals.
But this season, the club is at the top of the Championship table and are seven points clear of third-placed Fulham. While this shows that Leeds have a strong chance of earning promotion this season, the fans felt like Forshaw is sounding overly confident.
Any Leeds fan that dont have doubts aint even a Leeds fan

Disgraceful comments, he has obviously not read our 100yr history book.

All of these Leeds fans don’t seem to like what Forshaw has said because they aren’t as confident that the club will seal promotion this time around.
However, there is every reason they should be, as the club is at the top of the table, while before football was suspended in the country, they had won all five of their Championship games. So in that sense, there is a high chance of them going up – and Forshaw’s comments shouldn’t be criticised.
