A Leeds United fan recently caught the attention of some Whites supporters after she took to Twitter to declare that she misses Elland Road and ‘the cheese wedge’.
Leeds United supporters have not been able to watch a game of Championship football at Elland Road since the seventh of March, following the postponement of professional football England due to the current viral outbreak.
As a result, it may be understandable why some Whites fans may miss Elland Road and ‘the cheese wedge’, which is a nickname given to the stadium’s South-East corner “on account of its distinctive yellow seats”.
Some Whites supporters have been responding to this tweet to share that they are also missing Leeds’ home ground at present, with no professional football matches being played. Read some Whites fans’ replies to this post about Elland Road in the tweets below.

What do we think?
Considering that Leeds got themselves to the top of the Championship table prior to the postponement of English football, it may be understandable why some of their fans may be getting impatient as they wait for the professional game to return, as they may have been hoping to see their side earn promotion to the Premier League for next season.
