A group of Leeds United fans have been discussing a recent Twitter post by Tyler Roberts. The forward shared some images of him and a couple of his teammates demonstrating social distancing and invited supporters to try and make an ‘edit’ and that he would share the funniest one.
Roberts, who is valued at £3.24 million (as per Transfermarkt), signed for the Yorkshire-based club from West Bromwich Albion’s Under-23s in January 2018 in a deal reportedly worth £2.57m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). Since his arrival, he has made 45 appearances, contributing six goals and providing six assists.
However, it is worth noting when judging him on his outputs that most of his 14 appearances in the Championship this season have come as a substitute, he’s started just 11% of the Whites’ league fixtures and at the age of 21, you could make a case that there is a lot more to come from the player.
Football aside, how has his sense of humour gone down with this artistic sample of the Elland Road faithful?
I tried to put your arm around Lee Johnson but he’s just too small ? #lufc pic.twitter.com/cLvQQt12tz

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that these Leeds United fans have had some fun with Roberts’ pictures. The Whites, along with the rest of the Championship clubs, resumed group training earlier this week as the return of football edges closer.
