Some Celtic fans have been raving at the latest tweet that Chris Sutton recently shared.
Sutton shared a tweet from the Daily Record, which had talked about what Gareth McAuley had said about Celtic’s recent Premiership title win. McAuley had recently written a column for the Belfast Telegraph and he had talked about why the club’s title win is ‘tainted and hollow’.
Sutton mocked McAuley’s opinion, saying that he has never won a trophy in his career to know what celebrating a title means.
Many Celtic fans flocked to Sutton’s tweet. Some hailed what he said, while others made fun of McAuley.

What do we think?
Celtic fans seem to be backing Sutton in this one, as McAuley is a former Rangers player. And as Sutton points out, he didn’t win a single major trophy in his career. Considering the 47-year-old is a former Celtic player and won four Premiership titles with the Hoops, there is every reason for Celtic fans to favour their former striker over McAuley in this discussion.
