Leeds United took part in the #ClapForOurCarers national applause by which people pay tribute to those working on the front lines in the efforts to tackle the current viral outbreak.
The club shared a short video, via their Twitter account which features a number of recognisable faces taking part in the applause including Simon Grayson, Robert Snodgrass, Neil Redfearn, Jim Beglin, Lee Chapman and Thomas Christiansen amongst others.
Here is how some of the Elland Road faithful have responded.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that these supporters enjoy seeing their heroes doing their bit to raise awareness. One fan described these videos as the ‘only thing keeping me going at this moment in time’ – highlighting that if nothing else, these posts are raising the spirits of those struggling with the lockdown measures and the lack of live football.
There is yet to be an announcement regarding whether or not the Championship will resume and if so, when. Rick Parry, the EFL’s chairman recently warned that clubs could face a “£200m hole” if the season is not concluded (as per BBC Sport).
