Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to a recently posted image of an old Liverpool away kit.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnythingLFC_ shared a post on their page that contained the image of the away kit that the Merseyside club used in their 1985/86 season.
The page captioned their post claiming that the kit was “a beauty of a jersey” before asking their followers if they could guess what year this kit was first used in.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were keen on having their say on this away kit.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Do you like this kit?
Yes
No
At the end of the 1985/86 season, under the guidance of player-manager Kenny Dalglish, the Reds beat their Merseyside rivals Everton to capture a 16th championship crown and third FA Cup success – the first league and cup double in their history. Liverpool also wrapped up the title thanks to a Dalglish goal at Stamford Bridge on the third of May and then beat Merseyside rivals Everton 3-1 at Wembley seven days later, with Ian Rush scoring a brace (per LFC). Now that this image of the away kit used in that season has been shared on Twitter, this gave lots of Liverpool fans the opportunity to drool over the kit.

Superb kit this. Looks great in white and old Adidas badge. I have the 89 home kit and love it feels great on and this white kit is beautiful. #YNWA

What do we think?
This kit certainly is a big hit with these Liverpool fans even after all this time since it was used by the club.
