A group of Leeds United supporters have been reacting to the club’s recent Twitter post which features an image of Pablo Hernandez in training.
The photo is captioned with ‘El Mago Español’ – which translates to ‘The Spanish Magician’ – and goes on to say the 35-year-old ‘has never had trouble creating two metres of space’.
Hernandez, previously of Swansea City, joined the club on a free transfer from the Qatari outfit Al Arabi after initially spending some time on loan at Elland Road.
Despite based on his age, being in the twilight of his career, he has played an important role in Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season having made 28 appearances in the league so far (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).

The former Valencia attacking midfielder has scored six league goals and provided six assists to his teammates this season (via Transfermarkt.co.uk) – highlighting the fact he is one of the team’s key creative forces. Aside from the praise, however, there were some fans who were keen to highlight a couple of things they had spotted in regards to Hernandez’s appearance.

Pablo Hernandez boasts an average performance rating in the Championship this season of 7.19/10 (via WhoScored.com), making him Bielsa’s third-most consistent performer and therefore it is no wonder he is such a popular figure amongst the supporters.
