A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a tweet from LUFC Lewis on Twitter as he claims that the EFL are most likely to end the season on a points-per-game basis and the Premier League are to finish their season on sporting merit.
A recent report in The Times has made claims to that end, with FA chairman Greg Clarke appearing to rule out the possibility of the top flight being declared null and void or resuming without teams being relegated.
Therefore, ‘LUFC Lewis’ had determined that in a season ended via the PPG method, the Whites would be promoted to the top flight with 88 points.
This post has delighted a lot of Leeds fans, who love this news.

This club needs prem football and the prem needs a Leeds United so it really doesn’t bother me how we go up . We are top of the league and 75 percent of the season done so if it PPG we deserve to go up

I’d rather go up with ppg then to play the remainder of the games even with the crowds back in stadiums. There’s too much at stake for us not to go up, this is perfect.

What do we think?
Further to the recent reports, Mark Taylor from InfoGol said in an interview with Graham Smyth that in ‘every scenario’ he has looked at, the Whites are promoted if the EFL decides to cancel the Championship.
Do you believe this post?
Yes
No
The Athletic revealed that the EFL could be set to cancel League One and Two, so the EFL could decide to do the same with the Championship; however, the EFL has maintained publicly that they want to finish the season.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
