Leeds United’s captain Liam Cooper recently participated in the #MusclesMatchdaySelfie campaign, and many of the club’s supporters have flocked to his Twitter post in order to respond. The initiative’s aim is to support the 70,000 people in the UK suffering from muscular dystrophy and other muscle-wasting conditions.
Cooper signed for the Whites back in August 2014 from Chesterfield for a reported fee of £675k (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). He’s played a key role for Marcelo Bielsa’s promotion hopefuls this year, having appeared in 30 of the club’s 37 Championship fixtures so far this season.
According to WhoScored.com, Cooper’s average performance rating in the league currently stands at 7.09/10, making him the side’s fourth-most consistent performer. Having donated, the Scottish central defender was asked to name his five-a-side team and selected Stuart Dallas, Luke Ayling, Kalvin Phillips, Helder Costa and Patrick Bamford. Here is how some of the supporters have responded to his post.

Based on the above responses, most of these Leeds United supporters were more interested in the captain’s new look rather than anything else.
