Some Celtic fans have been mocking the latest update that Inverness Caledonian Thistle recently relayed about the SPFL.
Inverness’ latest post on Twitter carried a club statement, which said that they were bullied and threatened ahead of April’s SPFL vote to end the lower league seasons in Scotland. The SPFL has refused to comment on their allegations.
On seeing this post from the Championship club, many Celtic fans slammed Inverness. They made their displeasure very clear.
You have to feel sorry for a gent like Neil Doncaster when underperforming clubs with huge debts are trying to screw elected officials and the other properly run clubs. Hopefully ICTFC will be reported to UEFA for gross misconduct.

Are yous not in a position to release evidence now before the EGM to gather support for an independent investigation, otherwise it’s just more noise. ?

This statement comes days after Rangers had compiled an extensive dossier of supposed evidence against the SPFL. The Ibrox club claimed that the SPFL had not informed Scottish clubs of a £10m liability sum and potential issues with league reconstruction.
Before that, the Gers had also accused the SPFL of bullying and coercion relating to the SPFL vote to cancel the seasons of lower leagues in Scotland.
What do we think?
Considering how Inverness’ statement follows the same mood as that of Rangers’, one can see why Celtic fans aren’t happy. This whole situation is potentially delaying the decision on the Premiership season and considering the Hoops are 13 points clear at the top, it shows why they are frustrated. They can only hope that this problem is resolved soon.
