The EFL's preferred contingency would be to promote Leeds and West Brom automatically while Fulham, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Preston would compete in one-off games at neutral venues in the play-offs, according to the Guardian.pic.twitter.com/nXS8rJgwq1

Always liked the EFL

Good option, that would prevent potential legal reprecussions from Forest, Preston and Brentford if denied promotion opportunity. Along with no relegations, that would maintain most integrity.

Would you be happy to see Leeds United get promoted this way?YES, I'D TAKE ITNO, IT'S NOT THE SAME |
Pretty much ideal

I think that’s fair. Top 2 keep what they’ve earned. 3 – 6 get the opportunity they’ve earned, albeit slightly easier? Only having to win 2 games instead of 3?

Seems reasonable to me ?? at least the teams in the current play off positions still have fate in their own hands ????? i think this way it does minimise collateral damage

What do we think?
Prior to the postponement of the professional game in England, Leeds United managed to get themselves to the top of the Championship table, where they are currently seven points clear of third-placed Fulham in the play-off places.
With that in mind, it may be fair to say that the Whites have got themselves into a fairly promising position to achieve promotion to England’s top flight for the first time since being relegated from the Premier League back in the 2003/04 campaign.
As this recent report from The Guardian makes it seem as though Leeds may be promoted if the 2019/20 season can’t resume, it might be understandable why many of the club’s supporters have been responding positively to Carnduff’s recent tweet.
