A group of Leeds United supporters have been discussing a post from @leedshunter on Twitter. It’s a selection of images of a match-worn goalkeeper jersey and in one of them, you can see it on the club’s former stopper Mervyn Day.
The 64-year-old was on the books at Elland Road between 1985 and 1993, before signing for Carlisle United after loan spells at Luton Town and Sheffield United (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
Here is how some of the Elland Road faithful have responded to the post on the social media platform.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that there are many Leeds United fans out there who would love to get their hands on this particular shirt. This kit was made by Umbro, one of a number of suppliers the Yorkshire-based club have had over the years. Next year sees the Whites switch to Adidas for the first time in their history ahead of the 2020/21 season.
