A group of Leeds United supporters have been discussing a post by @LUFCMOTcom on Twitter in which defender Ben White makes a surprise appearance on a video call between Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth and the young supporter who sent a letter to Brighton and Hove Albion to try and persuade them to sell the player for £15.07 (as per the Daily Mail).
Daniel Auton and his father were gobsmacked to see the central defender appear on the screen and the youngster wasted no time in asking his hero the important questions. Firstly, he asked the 22-year-old whether or not he would be staying with the Yorkshire-based club next season, to which White replied: “We don’t know just yet.”
The young fan then proceeded to ask White whether or not he’d like to play football with him some time and it seems the defender would be happy to do so at the earliest opportunity.

It’s clear from the above responses these Leeds United fans were touched by the video and would love to see the £4.95m-rated White extend his stay with the club beyond the end of this season.
