Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reported news on Tanguy Ndombele.
According to Football.london journalist Alasdair Gold (via Daily Hotspur), Jose Mourinho has been impressed with the Frenchman’s efforts to improve in recent weeks and the club have no intention of selling the 23-year-old this summer. Spurs signed the midfielder from Lyon last summer in a club-record deal but he has struggled throughout his first season in England, with regular fitness issues proving a problem.
It has been reported in recent weeks that the likes of Barcelona and Liverpool are keen on signing him ahead of next season but based off Gold’s report, the French international has been working hard to improve during the current suspension of the Premier League and will remain a Lilywhites player next season.
Do you think Ndombele will be a key player for Spurs next season?

Yes. Love this. From both of them. Tanguy for the effort and jose for being man enough to see he could be a beast if given the right treatment

Now see that’s what we like to hear

Imagine if Ndombele had the fitness of Sissoko(I know he’s injured atm). With his passing and dribbling skills he’d be some player

These Spurs fans clearly seem delighted with the news on Ndombele and will no doubt be looking forward to seeing him play again when top-flight football resumes.
What do we think?
If Ndombele can improve his fitness and start to regularly produce the same sort of performances as he did in the Champions League this season; where he averaged an impressive 7.34 rating, then perhaps Spurs fans do have every right to be excited about his future with the club.
