A group of Leeds United supporters have responded to Adam Pope’s tweet in which he shares a report on the details of restrictions that are to be introduced as the Premier League looks to resume in the coming weeks and months.
Pope’s tweet relays a report published on Tuesday by the BBC’s Dan Roan, who provides details of the official protocols sent to players and managers, which includes an initial ban on tackling in training.
Leeds United are hoping to return to the top flight of English football next season for the first time since their relegation in 2004. Whilst it remains unclear as to how the Championship will be concluded, the Whites may have a keen eye on the Premier League getting back underway because if there is no relegation – which has been mooted as a possibility – it could have an impact on their promotion hopes.
Here is how some of the Elland Road faithful have responded to the update.
Berardi’s going to have an existential crisis over this.

What’s the point if no tackling? Like they can suddenly then do that few weeks later ?

In your opinion, are the authorities trying to rush football back too soon?
Yes
No
This isn’t football.

Tackling banned, what a joke

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that these Leeds United supporters are sceptical in regards to how training can resume under the aforementioned restrictions.
