A group of Leeds United fans have been discussing the news that Championship clubs would resume group training from Monday as they step up their preparations for the resumption of the current season.
At the time of the competition’s suspension, Marcelo Bielsa’s side were top of the division and on an excellent run of form having won five of their last five league fixtures. There has been much doubt about whether or not it would be safe enough for the season to resume but given the results from the EFL’s recent testing, there is much more confidence now.
Phil Hay of The Athletic relayed the news via his Twitter account and here is how a sample of the Elland Road faithful have responded.
There won’t be a side fitter or better prepared for this return. Leeds are going up one way or another. ??

Too right with those stats. Get it played in a short timeframe. It’s a safer environment than going to the shop, park or walking down the street

What do we think?
Whilst some of these supporters appear to be buzzing at the prospect of Championship football resuming next month, there are others who remain nervous regarding Leeds United’s promotion chase.
