Gary Neville has been discussing Leeds United on Sky Sports News and described the club’s fans as “horrible”. Speaking on The Football Show alongside Jamie Redknapp and presenter David Jones, the former Manchester United defender was describing his experience of playing at Elland Road for the Red Devils.
He did say, however, that he would like to see Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the Premier League and was highly complimentary of the Argentinian boss. Here is how some of the supporters have responded to the Sky pundit’s comments.
Why does everyone seem to love us and miss us all of a sudden? Can’t wait to we are back competing at the top level and they all hate us again

Perhaps surprisingly, some of these Leeds fans were complimentary of Neville and the work he does as a pundit.
Is it bad that I don’t mind Neville…

Do you like Gary Neville as a pundit?
Yes
No
It just means you’re grown up if you like him. He’s the most unbiased pundit on sky that talks the most sense.

Forget the rivalries @GNev2 speaks sense and is a great pundit I’m not ashamed to say I like the bloke

What do we think?
Despite the fierce historical rivalry between Leeds United and Manchester United, the club Gary Neville represented for almost two decades, there appears to be mutual respect between the Whites faithful and their former adversary.
Marcelo Bielsa’s team are currently top of the Championship and are hoping to secure a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2004, something that Neville sounds as though is very much hoping for.
