Spurs fans have been reacting to a post from Alasdair Gold after he relayed the news that the North London club have reversed their decision to furlough their non-playing staff.
The club has faced a lot of criticism in recent weeks after they originally announced that they would be furloughing non-playing staff at the club and therefore they would receive 80% of their usual wage. However, on Monday 13th April, the club announced that they had listened to fans and decided to reverse that decision, which Alasdair Gold then shared on his Twitter page.
He included a quote from the club, which says: “We have decided that all non-playing staff, whether full-time, casual or furloughed, will receive 100 per cent of their pay for April and May. Only the board will take salary reductions.”
Do you respect the club's decision to reverse their original decision?

Took them long enough and I fear that the damage to the brand is already done, but at least they made the right decision. #coys

Here comes the inevitable Levy statement. ”Due to the club taking the correct decision regarding non-players wages, we will be giving our manager £20m to play with in the summer transfer window”.

These Spurs fans seem to agree that the club should have made that decision a while ago but are glad they finally came to the right decision.
What do we think?
It is good that Spurs have decided to continue paying their staff in full after all the criticism they have received in recent weeks.
