A group of former Leeds United players, as well as current members of the squad, journalists, sports personalities and broadcasters associated with the club, recently featured in the latest ‘clap for our carers’ video shared via Twitter on Thursday evening.
Some of those featured in the video included Jermaine Beckford, Danny Mills, Ian Harte, Kalvin Phillips, Emma Jones, Josh Warrington and Phil Hay. The tribute was dedicated to all the key workers who remain on the frontlines as the country battles to contain the viral outbreak that has seen thousands lose their lives.
Here’s how some of the Elland Road faithful have responded to the club’s post.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that many Leeds United fans were moved by the clip put together in honour of those currently looking after the country. In particular, it seems Phillips’ submission has gone down well with some of these supporters.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds are currently top of the Championship and will be looking to secure promotion back to the Premier League if and when it is deemed safe for the competition to resume.
