A group of Leeds United fans have been discussing Stuart Dallas’ goal at Stoke earlier in the season on Twitter after @LeedsEverywhere shared footage of the strike on the social media platform. That was one of three league goals the Northern Ireland international has scored in the Championship this season and Marcelo Bielsa’s side ran out 3-0 winners that day.
Pablo Hernandez was the provider of that goal with a perfectly weighted pass that split the Stoke City defence, providing Dallas with the simpler task of just slotting it home and the fans have been gushing over the Spaniard’s contribution.
Just can’t thinking about the vision and weighting of that pass from Hernandez

Such a great goal ?

They should do a pass of the season. Pablo would get my vote – perfect weight of pass and awareness of dallas’s run.

Forgotten how good that goal really was. The movement and one touch passes. Unreal

@TyrrellIan #BielsaBall at its finest. Imagine that in the PL with a bit of investment into the playing squad

Is that the pass of the season in the Championship?
Yes
No

So many goals of the season but that my favourite, it sums Leeds up this season under Bielsa

Nice to see the Stoke City defenders adopting social distancing

Pab’s pass is probably the best thing that’s ever happened

What do we think?
Judging by the above responses, Hernandez’s contribution has not gone unappreciated by the Whites fans. The 35-year-old has made 28 appearances in the Championship this season, scoring six goals and providing six assists to date (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
His average performance rating currently stands at 7.19/10 according to WhoScored.com, highlighting that even in what we assume to be the twilight of his career, the Spaniard still has plenty to offer Marcelo Bielsa’s team.
