Some West Brom fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Baggies-focused Twitter account @BaggiesHQ, which asks the club’s supporters if they would like to see loanee Callum Robinson “make a permanent move” to the club.

Robinson originally joined West Brom on loan from Sheffield United until the end of the 2019/20 season back on 29 January. Since then, Robinson has featured in eight Championship games for the Baggies, scoring two goals and providing one assist thus far.

Some Baggies supporters appear to have been convinced of Robinson’s quality following his performances for the club since joining, as many of those who have responded to @BaggiesHQ’s recent post have shared that they would like to see the 25-year-old attacker join the club on a permanent deal. Read the posts from some West Brom fans who have been calling for the club to bring Robinson, who is currently valued at £4.95m according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, to the club on a permanent basis in the tweets below.

What do we think?

In addition to scoring two goals and providing one assist in his eight Championship games for the Baggies thus far, Robinson has earned an average overall rating of 7.20 across those matches. This makes him the club’s third-highest-rated player on average for the current season.

With that in mind, it may be understandable why some Baggies supporters have called for the club to sign the Republic of Ireland international on a permanent deal.
