A group of Leeds United supporters have been discussing one of their old away shirts after an image of it was posted on Twitter by @Oli_LUFC_.
The caption read: ‘If 2020 was an away shirt’ – suggesting that this particular design was unpopular with some of the Elland Road faithful.
Here is what some of the fans had to say in response to the post.
I actually quite like that one, it reminded me of a bed spread I had when I was a kid!

Like this kit, reminds me of rampant Leeds at Derby on Bielsaball’s first away day

Did you like the 2018/19 away kit?
Yes
No
Big L on this one unfortunately

I’m the only one in my family that liked it but I still don’t get why it was so hated

What do we think?
Contrary to what the original post suggests, there are some people who liked the kit. Designed by the Italian sportswear brand Kappa, the kit was worn by the Whites during the 2018/19 campaign, Marcelo Bielsa’s first in charge of the team.
Leeds United missed out on a return to the top-flight that season after a play-off semi-final defeat at the hands of Derby County but looked set to go one better this year and secure an automatic promotion place when the season was suspended in March.
No details have yet been announced regarding the resumption of the Championship so any plans for a promotion party have been put on hold.
