What do we think?
We are not sure how reliable Almansour is, but he has directly commented on a tweet from PIF, who are thought to be in the process of buying stakes in companies.
In less than a month, they have bought stakes in Carnival and Equinor – with a spokesperson from PIF saying there would be more investments in the coming weeks.
Could Newcastle United be their next purchase?
Judging by some of these replies, many Toon fans certainly hope so.
