Some Leeds United fans have been discussing their 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday almost a year ago to the day which saw them move three points clear of their automatic promotion rivals at the time, Sheffield United.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side had struggled to convert their chances (as per Sky Sports) that day and so Jack Harrison’s decisive strike after 65 minutes brought much relief to Elland Road. The club recently shared footage of the goal via their official Twitter account and here is how some of the Leeds faithful have responded to the post.

What do we think?
It’s clear from the reaction of these supporters that many felt they were on their way to automatic promotion after this narrow victory. However, it wasn’t to be for Marcelo Bielsa’s side and the Whites were eventually defeated in the play-off semi-final by Frank Lampard’s Derby County.
Fast-forward a year and his side were on course to finish in the top two, possibly even as champions prior to the suspension of the competition. The club’s fans will be hoping for a better outcome this time around.
