Leeds United striker Jean-Kevin Augustin joined the Whites in January on loan from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig. The Frenchman has been limited to just three Championship appearances so far, playing a total of just 48 minutes for Marcelo Bielsa’s side since his arrival (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
In the past, the boss has publicly commented on the player’s condition, suggesting somebody with his background wouldn’t be playing at Leeds if he was in better shape physically. Some of the club’s supporters have been discussing some images (via Twitter) of the 22-year-old, who is valued at £8.55 million (as per Transfermarkt), training in isolation, in which he looks very different. What do we think?
Based on the above responses, it seems many of these Leeds supporters were surprised by Augustin’s appearance in these images. However, given his very public fitness troubles, it may not be a bad thing to see the former Paris Saint-Germain striker looking noticeably leaner.
