A group of Leeds United supporters have been discussing their former striker Lee Chapman after an image of him scoring for the Whites was shared on Twitter by @nostalgiclufc.
In this photograph, the forward is captured executing a diving header versus Aston Villa during a fixture held at Villa Park back in 1991. Here is how some of the club’s supporters have reacted to the post.
i will always love Chappie for what he did for us. He looked so clumsy and was, but was so effective in our style of play back then.

What do we think?
Lee Chapman scored 80 goals for the Whites according to Soccerbase.com. The now 60-year-old had two spells at Elland Road, firstly between January 1990 and August 1993. Before returning to the club on loan in January 1996 and departing in March that same year.
Chapman also represented Arsenal, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest and West Ham amongst others during his career. He made over 500 league appearances in total and scored 165 goals, averaging 0.29 goals per game (via Soccerbase.com)
It’s clear from the above responses that these supporters remember both that particular match and their former player fondly.
