Some Celtic fans have been talking about midfielder Callum McGregor after a post about him caught their attention.
A Hoops-related page recently posted an image of McGregor, saying that the midfielder has ‘blossomed’ over the years into a ‘mainstay’ of the current team.
After reading this post, many Celtic fans were left raving. They agree over the qualities of McGregor and some even want him to be the future captain.

McGregor, who is valued at £4.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), is a product of the Celtic youth academy and made his debut for the club back in the 2014/15 season after a loan spell at Notts County. This season, he has been a regular in midfield for Neil Lennon’s men.
He has made 50 appearances in all competitions, with 30 of them coming in the Premiership. In the league, the Scotland international has contributed to 16 goals. Nine of them have been goals, with seven being assists.
What do we think?
The comments of the Celtic fans show that they certainly do admire McGregor. Considering he is a youth product and that he’s played the most number of minutes for the club this season, it appears that he really gives his all for the club and deserves the fans’ praise.
