Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw has named Stuart Dallas as his pick for the player of the year award. Forshaw was speaking on Colin Murray’s 52 podcast as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post where he labelled his teammate as the “Championship’s James Milner.”
The 28-year-old also mentioned Ben White and Kalvin Phillips who he believes have the potential to push on and become top-level players. Here’s what the fans had to say regarding their midfielder’s comments.
100% agree Lee, Stuart has been absolutely awesome this season, Leeds through and through, plays for the shirt every game, he gets my vote ?? #MOT ?? xx

Been the ultimate utility player this season. His ability to play in any position under Bielsa is somewhat remarkable.

I’ve said this all season, he’s been our best player, plays out of position and still does a job and never lets us down, and he has a ridiculous engine on him, my boy Dallas ??

What do we think?
Stuart Dallas has started 100% of Leeds United’s Championship fixtures so far this season. In 37 league appearances so far he has also contributed three goals and an assist (via Transfermarkt.co.uk). The Whites signed the now 28-year-old from Brentford back in 2015 in a deal reportedly worth £1.71m.
His average performance rating currently stands at 6.9/10 according to WhoScored.com, making him Marcelo Bielsa’s ninth-best performer. Based on the replies above it’s clear that the supporters agree with Forshaw’s selection contrary to what the statistics show.
