A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet from LUFCMOT that includes quotes made by Gary Neville about the difference in money between the Premier League and the Championship.
In a special edition of Sky Sports’ The Debate, the former Manchester United man said that the disconnect in finances in both leagues needs resetting. (12:14)
He claims that the bottom club in the Premier League get £100m in broadcast money, (12:06) but the team at the top of the EFL only get £3m in broadcast money. (12:06)
These comments have drawn a reaction from many Leeds fans who seem to be warming to Neville.
Do you agree with what Neville said?
Yes
No
Neville: "We’re seeing the main structural flaw in English football. The bottom club in the #PL gaining £100m of broadcast money and the top club in the EFL, Leeds get £3m. You must see the disconnect and the disproportionate financial reward. It needs resetting."

What do we think?
These are strong words from the current Sky Sports pundit (12:06), and we agree with him that the gap between the two leagues is too big – while his comments seem to be strong enough to transcend the bitterness that may be expected between Leeds fans and the former Manchester United defender.
It seems unfair that the Whites can win 21 matches this season to date and earn around £97m less than the Premier League’s current bottom side, Norwich City – who have won just five games so far.
We, therefore, agree with Neville that there needs to be a reset.
