A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet from Stuart McKinstry after he donated to the NHS after they saved his grandad from falling victim to this viral pandemic.
McKinstry donated care packages to the staff of Glasgow’s Royal Infirmary; included in the packages were tea, coffee, and vaseline.
As well as this, the 17-year-old also donated two boxes of food and gave them money to get pizza.
This gesture from McKinstry has gone down very well with these Leeds fans, who seem very proud of this young man.
Do you like this gesture from McKinstry?
Yes, well done that man
No, not bothered

Fantastic! Just what you’d expect from the current crop in the LUFC Family – side before self. ??

Thank you for taking the time to show your appreciation of the NHS staff. As a husband to an NHS nurse, it’s gestures like this that make the difference. Well done Stuart

Heartwarming to read. You’re incredibly fortunate to have grown up in such an environment.

Well done young man and well said, a true credit to your family and just the kind of person that deserves to wear the Leeds shirt. As a Leeds supporting Scotsman, I’ll be cheering for you all the louder when you grace the Elland road turf in the near future.

What do we think?
This is an amazing gesture from McKinstry and shows that despite his young age, he knows how important the NHS is to this country.
It is also good to hear that McKinstry’s grandad is at home and recovering well. We think he will be very proud of his grandson’s generosity.
Leeds’ first-team players took a voluntary pay-cut a few weeks ago – so it is good to see that same attitude looks to have been passed down to the youngster.
