Liverpool fans have been responding on Twitter to the latest remarks from former Reds defender Jamie Carragher.
This comes after Liverpool-focused Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying comments made by Carragher on in an Instagram Q&A (as per Goal).
When asked who he thinks should take over from Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager, Carragher said they should “just give it to Gerrard”.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their thoughts on the matter.

Should Steven Gerrard be Liverpool's next manager?

The former Reds midfielder is currently managing in Scotland with Rangers. This season has seen the former midfield man guide his team to second place in the Scottish Premiership, winning 21 out of their 29 league games played so far this campaign (per BBC Sport). Now that Carragher has come out and shared his opinion that Gerrard should be the next Liverpool manager after Klopp, this has led to a lot of Reds fans disagreeing with their former defensive star.
