A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet from Twitter user @Harteandsoul that includes a screenshot of Luciano Becchio’s interview with Phil Hay in The Athletic.
The story is about when the Argentine returned to England after one year away. He claims that former Leeds owner Massimo Cellino rang him up to ask him to return to Elland Road – so Becchio agreed.
However, Cellino then never phoned the Argentine back to sort out the deal, and Becchio signed for Rotherham United instead – where he made seven appearances and scored two goals.
Does this make you dislike Cellino more?
Yes
No
This Cellino story has not gone down well with these Leeds fans.

What do we think?
Becchio made 219 appearances for Leeds and scored 86 goals before he departed for Norwich City in January 2013, and the Whites received Steve Morison in return.
If what Becchio is saying is true, then Cellino had the opportunity to sign a player who had a successful time at Elland Road but seemingly decided against it.
Judging by some of the replies, this has upset some Leeds fans.
