A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet from LUFCMOT that includes quotes from Gary Weaver on Ben White.
Weaver speaking on the Sky Sports EFL Podcast (Via LUFCMOT) claimed that Liverpool scout Andy O’Brien has watched almost every game that Leeds have played this season to check on White.
Weaver claims that the ‘big teams are interested’ and that the 22-year-old is a ‘top-quality player’.
These quotes from Weaver have drawn a reaction from many Leeds fans.

?? Gary Weaver: "Andy O’Brien, who's a Liverpool scout, has watched almost every game of Ben White. The big teams are interested. For me, there’s just that calmness and composure. He’s taken everything in his stride. He’s a top-quality player.” #LUFC pic.twitter.com/ipogUR13dW

We have to pay whatever it takes to buy him in the summer. In my opinion whatever we pay he’ll be worth double in 5yrs time. If he goes to Liverpool he won’t play for them yet as too soon. He’d be better served staying with us.

Love it if he stays, such a solid player, feel so confident with him in the back line. He’s only gonna get better as well. ??

He doesn’t have any hands – they’d be wise to leave him alone.

i would love it if he stayed with us, and the possibilities are there. However, if he does go and join a team like Liverpool, then i’ll be cheering him the whole way – same with Delph, Lewis C and James M – celebrate their successes as #ALAW

What do we think?
White has supposedly had Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool watch him this season, and given he averages a 7.05 rating in the Championship, we are not surprised that other clubs have had a look.
White has played every league game under Marcelo Bielsa this season, and has earned praise for his performances. (Graham Potter)
The problem Leeds have is that he is only on loan at Elland Road, and Brighton & Hove Albion have no intention to sell him.
However, nothing can really be decided on White’s future until Leeds know what division they will be playing in next season, and with the Championship currently suspended, that cannot be decided yet.
