Some Celtic fans have been reacting to the latest comments that Charlie Nicholas has made about the club’s striker Odsonne Edouard.
Nicholas was recently talking on Sky Sports (via Daily Record) about which club would suit Edouard, saying that while Arsenal wouldn’t be a good move for him, an Everton move would be a better fit for the Frenchman.
He said: “I just do not think Arsenal can afford to let [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang’s contract run out, so they will have to renew it. Despite that, I do not see the Edouard to Arsenal link materialising, but I could certainly see him moving to the Premier League.
“He could be more suitable to Everton if they build their team in the right way. I have watched them quite a bit this season.
“Dominic Calvert-Lewin has had a purple patch but Edouard is a better technical player. He’s got more about him than Calvert-Lewin and there’s no doubt in my mind he would be a very good buy for someone.”
Which club will suit Edouard more?
Arsenal
Everton
The Daily Record relayed these comments on Twitter and many Celtic fans had plenty to say about it.

Edouard has been in impressive form for the Hoops this season, having scored 27 times in all competitions in 45 games. In the Premiership, the Frenchman has scored 21 goals, while picking up 12 assists in 27 top-flight matches.
What do we think?
While Nicholas is entitled to his opinion, Arsenal indeed have been linked with a move for Edouard. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been linked with an Arsenal exit by Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreInter) and if he does leave, there will be an open slot for someone like Edouard to come in and play regularly. So despite Nicholas’ claim, an Arsenal move may yet appear more likely than a Goodison Park switch.
