A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Tom Carnduff’s tweet that includes a screenshot taken from a Phil Hay piece.
The story mentioned in Carnduff’s tweet is from Hay’s piece about Leeds’ medical department.
The piece claims that the Whites’ medical team had discussions about this viral outbreak back in January and believed that it could not be contained in the Far East.
As a result of this, they began preparing contingency plans and exercise packs.
Are you impressed by this move from Leeds?
Yes, such good planning
No, not really bothered
This means that when Leeds stopped first-team training at Thorp Arch, the Whites were in a position to deliver the packs to the players the same night.
This story has gone down well with many Leeds fans who are impressed by their club.
Wow. This is quite something from Leeds’ medical department. #lufc https://t.co/dR2Jn3VuEs pic.twitter.com/WhL4iP5lU0

I wonder how many championship clubs did this

What do we think?
This is impressive planning from Leeds’ medical team, and it meant that when the virus stopped training at Thorp Arch, the club were in the best possible position to help the first-team squad.
This follows on from the Whites’ decision to voluntarily cut pay, and, to us, it shows that the club knows what they are doing in this situation.
