They claim that Phillips is the highest rated Championship player on Football Manager 20, and they asked their followers if they think he is the best player in the league.

What do we think?
The 24-year-old is considered to be the best player from the Championship by Football Manager, and with an average rating of 6.98 from last season, it could be argued that they made the wrong decision.
However, we do think that Phillips is one of the best defensive midfielders in the league, and that is because Gareth Southgate has watched him, and many expect him to be playing in the Premier League next season no matter what.
