Leeds United have an exclusive option to buy Illan Meslier for £5m providing they complete the deal by a set date – that’s according to Football Insider. The report claims that the option to sign the 20-year-old for the specified price will expire in the middle of May.
Meslier has replaced Kiko Casilla, who is currently serving a ban, in the recent victories over Hull City and Huddersfield Town. What have these supporters made of the news regarding the details of the option to buy the French stopper?

What do we think?
Based on the responses from these supporters, it’s clear Meslier has made a positive impression at Elland Road despite having made just two Championship appearances. According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, he is currently valued at £4.5m therefore the price being quoted seems a fair one.
The goalkeeper is currently owned by the French club FC Lorient who play in Ligue 2 and currently lead the division.
