A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet from Phil Hay after he shared a tweet from the EFL about how they intend to finish the season.
The Championship, League One and League Two are currently suspended due to the viral outbreak, and the EFL announced their plans with regards to how the current season is concluded.
Meanwhile, they have set aside £50m to help clubs get through this challenging period, and have included an interest-free loan facility.
A fresh announcement has since followed that will see no elite English football played before April 30th, though following a prior board meeting on Wednesday, the EFL set a ‘primary objective’ of making sure the current campaign finishes, much to the delight of these Leeds fans.
Is this the right decision from the EFL?
Yes

Despite some Whites supporters claiming to have always thought highly of the EFL, some still have trust issues. The reasons for this may be to do with how fans have perceived the treatment their team has received down the years, with some even resorting to highlighting concerns over a possible conspiracy against them in recent seasons.
That’s just courtesy of the recent fines @LUFC have paid in last 2 seasons

What do we think?
It is good to see that the EFL intends to complete this season – as we didn’t think that declaring the season null and void was a fair outcome.
If the EFL sticks to their word, then we should see a conclusion to the season – whenever that may be.
