Liverpool fans have been reacting to a recent Twitter post from Anfield Watch. The video shows footage from Anfield of young fans, the local community and more, with an emotional voiceover from the club’s manager, Jurgen Klopp.
Here is a sample of what the Liverpool supporters have had to say in response.
Has Klopp brought back the spirit of Shankly?
Yes

Thanks, I needed that. I know Jürgen was just reading what he was told but you can tell how much it all really means to him, specially since this was done. He’s really proved he was the only choice. Best man for the job since Shankly.

What do we think?
Liverpool are currently experiencing some great times under Klopp’s leadership. The current European champions are closing in on their first-ever Premier League title after narrowly missing out on the coveted prize last season. The Reds have lost just once in the Premier League this term, dropping points in just two of their 29 fixtures so far and as a result, they hold a commanding 25-point lead.
The German took charge at Anfield in October 2015 after leaving his post at Borussia Dortmund a few months prior and has overseen 254 matches so far, winning 156, drawing 55 and losing 43.
The 52-year-old signed a contract extension in December which will keep him at the club until 2024, which is sure to be great news for those that follow the Anfield giants.
