A lot of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to rip into Patrick Bamford after he went another game without a goal.
Bamford was then substituted in the 67th minute, and what made things arguably worse for the 26-year-old was that his replacement Tyler Roberts scored two in the 23 minutes he was on the pitch for.
Who would you start in the next match?
Roberts
Bamford
This has led to calls from many Whites fans to drop Bamford and replace him with Roberts – while others just ripped into their striker.
Patrick Bamford is such a clown. #LUFC

I would rather have my nan with crippling arthritis play than watch Patrick Bamford make the starting 11 again… 1 goal for every 25 chances #lufc #leeds #HULLEE

When we get promoted, Bamford has to go. Only just good enough for the Championship, he will be well out of his depth in the Premier League.

Tyler Roberts is a better player than Patrick Bamford full stop. #LUFC

Great goal, Hernandez is a star, real quality.
I have to say Bamford is disappointing and out of his depth. I just don’t know why Bielsa is sticking with him.
If we are serious about getting back to the Premiere League we need to address the weaker areas.

Fair play to Tyler Roberts who has waited for his chance and today he came on and took it by scoring 2 goals.. I’ve been saying for weeks he should be starting up front instead of Patrick Bamford.. #lufc #mot

The fallacy of Patrick Bamford and Kiko Casilla is destroyed in one game. Oh what would we do without them? #lufc

Tyler roberts 2 goals in 20 mins. Running in behind, holding up well, making space, and above all actually finishing chances. Team came alive with roberts on the pitch. But of course we don’t want to hurt poor little paddy’s confidence so let’s not drop him. Ridiculous.

What do we think?
With Bamford not scoring in this latest match, that made it just two goals in 12 league games for the former Middlesbrough striker.
Luckily, Leeds didn’t need him on Saturday as they ran riot at the KCOM Stadium thanks to goals from Luke Ayling, Pablo Hernandez, and Roberts’ double.
However, Bamford’s lack of goals has annoyed these Leeds fans who want to see Roberts in from the start and after scoring a double from the bench, who can blame them?
Next up for the Whites is the visit of Huddersfield Town, and hopefully, Bamford can end his goal drought in that game.
