Leeds United expert Phil Hay of The Athletic has been having some fun on Twitter, and his comments have sparked quite the reaction amongst the club’s supporters. In a somewhat jovial tweet, his uncharacteristically deadpan post seemed to be the perfect response to a joke asking people what they would post in order to grab people’s attention.
Here’s what he tweeted followed by some of the responses.
Did you find Phil Hay's tweet funny?

What do we think?
Phil Hay certainly seems to have tickled the Leeds supporters here, with many enjoying both his attempt at humour as well as his extravagant goal announcements on Twitter, judging by one reply, at least.
While he may have not been able to do so on too many occasions in recent weeks and months, Leeds’ upturn in form over the last fortnight or so could suggest that Hay will be back to his normal self as the race to seal promotion continues this evening.
