Leeds United’s director of football Victor Orta has been singing and dancing with the club’s supporters following their narrow victory over Reading in the Championship on Saturday. Pablo Hernandez’s goal proved the difference between the two sides and as a result, the promotion hopefuls have opened a healthy five-point lead over Fulham in third.
Orta joined the club back in 2017 having previously worked at Sevilla and Middlesbrough as their head of recruitment (as per BBC Sport).
Leeds fan @Charleylufc_ posted the footage on Twitter, which shows Orta in high spirits as the Whites continue to chase down promotion.
Here’s how some of the club’s supporters have reacted to the footage.
Are you happy with the job Orta has done during his time at Elland Road?

What do we think?
It’s great to see the supporters and those running the club united in their desire to see Leeds return to the Premier League for the first time since their relegation at the end of the 2003/04 season. The Elland Road club narrowly missed out on promotion via the play-offs last season under Marcelo Bielsa but have come back stronger this time around and are in the driving seat to clinch one of the automatic promotion spots.
